It's all about scale

42K Media is the brainchild of Sandi Miller and James Poyner, partners in both business and life.
Their combined experience represents decades of experience in national and international broadcasting; from news and entertainment, to live sports and events; From Australia to Qatar and beyond. Sandi and James have worked, lived and breathed broadcasting, on TV and online, and from the hyper local to the Olympics and they understand that, when it comes to video production, live events and promotion - it usually just boils down to scale.
42K Media have participated in the broadcast of the 2019 Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS) with Blendline Media, the 2018 C31 show DotCom Social, where Sandi and James used their experience to help enhance one of Channel 31s only programs to have a live audience at the C31 studio. They have also produced videos for Nillumbik Artists Open Studios, Warrandyte Diary, Goodyear Tyres, League of Gentlemen, and many other projects.

James Poyner

Born in the Northern Ireland, UK and the son of an officer in the Royal Green Jackets, James has always had a sense of adventure and a thirst for wide open spaces. So it should be no surprise that an accidental career in broadcasting should begin a journey which, today, finds him living with Sandi in Warrandyte, Australia. After spending nearly 8 years as an employee for BoxTV and BSkyB, as a Presentation Assistant (Transmission Operator), controlloing the output of music TV stations such as The Box, Kerrang and Smash Hits, and later on Sky News, Sky Sports 1-4 and Sky F1, James went freelance and landed a contract working on the output of the the Host Broadcast at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, it is here he met Sandi. What followed was the long visa process to allow him to live and work in Australia, which included a year in Doha, Qatar working on Transmission for Aljazeera English.
Once in Australia, Sandi and James established 42K Media and have been making videos and managing content since 2016. Coronavirus has opened up the world to the possibilities of livestream and following contracts with C31 and Blendline Media, working on Livestreamed events and even streaming their local Anzac Day service in early 2020, James is excited about bringing his intentional scope and professional experience to local events, to continue to allow his local community to build friendships and converse, as a community, even from the safety and comfort of their own home.
James is also a keen ultramarathoner and trail runner and when he isn't making videos spends his time running up and down the hills and mountains in Victoria and guiding trail runs for Trail Bus.
